Great deal on (1) high-end solar battery cabinet. Purchased for job and never used....still in original package! Holds (8) batteries (2 shelves, four per shelf). Originally purchased from Alt-E Energy store for $1417!

Direct Power & Water Corporation has built a reputation of producing heavy duty hardware for dealers, integrators and installers who require the best possible for their customers, including Standard and Custom battery enclosures. Standard enclosures are built for the Concorde, Deka (MK), and Surette batteries, although other batteries will fit within the same form factor. We make custom enclosures for virtually any battery. All DPW enclosures are manufactured from heavy materials that don't lose their shape after being loaded with batteries.

The frame is welded steel angle with a polyester powder-coat finish. Shelf surfaces and outer skins are white polypropylene and the front covers are clear, impact-resistant polycarbonate with large handles.

The cabines are sized to allow a 1" space between each battery to promote air movement and eliminate hot spots. The middle shelves have large diameter holes for air movement and cable passage.

Venting of hydrogen gas to the outside of the building is done with installer-supplied 1" PVC pipe. A fitting is supplied with the cabinet that enables connection of the pipe to the top panel.

Cabinet has a Lexan front, which is removable to allow easy access and held firmly in place with magnets.
